This is truly going to be a rant because I simply don't update...you know that (sorryyy)..
Anyways, today for the first time I went back to all those fashion blogs I really love..and discovered how much I really miss them :(
After months of trying to distract myself with friends and work (I NEED MONEY)
I realized fashion isn't something that's gonna go away for me...
But how does one keep a love for fashion, and still go to college? (as in after I graduate 2011 WOHOOo!)

Why is college so damnnn expensive?
Why should I have to have a 97% GPA to get into a college? (com'on now, everyone slacks off freshman/sophmore year)
I'd really like a job in fashion merchandising but its not sooo realistic for me, I don't live in new york after all...so i've settled for wanting to major in something a little less exciting.

I'll take ten please- Look at these rollasoles, apparently they come all across the UK in VENDING MACHINES, at clubs. OMG, how did I not think of this? Its simply brilliant. Anyways, these would be so perfect for after school dances, or whatever. The concept is simple, tired feet? I received this award from Tasha of the Hot Spot, let me just start off by saying, if you haven't checked out her blog, GET TO IT! Honestly, she is one of the sweetest people I have talked to through here, I can't visit her blog without smiling, she is not only gorgeous, but she has awesome things to say, and a fabulous sense of style.
Now, I have to say ten honest things about myself-

1. I am a huge music fanatic, this really inspires my style, usually my ipod goes off in the morning, and this influences my attitude/style for the day. My favorite bands ever are coldplay, matchbox twenty, eve6, switchfoot, and rise against.

2. My favorite food is cereal, i usually have a bowl of Special K, every morning.

3. I work at a rather famous fast-food chain, but hey I'm sixteen! Haha, my dream is to become a fashion merchandiser.

5. Blogging has led me to meet so many new people, I love it:D

6. I have attended four different schools in my life.

7. I have lived in the same house all of my life, and i've only been out of the country once!

8. My dream is to visit Stockholm, Sweden someday, I think the people there have the most original style.

9. I wish everyone dressed like they did back in the sixties, the shift dress, the mod look, the original hippies, everything! haha, I think I was born in the wrong decade.

i'm a sucker for unique packaging, so in my anual trip to ulta for eyeliner i got very sidetracked by urban decays pocket rocket lipgloss, it boasted "a no bulk tube" with a guy of your choice "with a flick of the rist"! hmm, interesting. anyways, heres the deal, the packaging may be awesome, but the lipgloss gets even better:) i personally think it taste like oatmeal, haha...however the formula is awesome, it gives fantastic color, my lips look RED, and the lipgloss isn't to sticky, or thin. perfection! btw, i chose timothy.

i ended up going to the PA fabric outlet today, it was quite entertaining. needles to say i loved it there, they had rows upon rows of well, fabric, which included leather, sequin, feathers, spandex, lace, ribbons, etc.

forever21 is of course known for numerously knocking off everyone from marc jacobs to mayle.
however with this tunic, we can obviously note that only elements of the original were taken, such as..

Fashion Forecast

this spring is rather different from past springs, i'm thinking it has something to do with the economic situation...

The color scheme will be rather dull; khakis, pale shades of gray, cream, and white should be expected although expect the occasional pop of turquoise and yellow
Silhouettes will continue to be girl, expect ruffles, bows, tiers, bubbles, floaty shapes, etc
The boyfriend jean, as well as blue/white jeans will be popular
Sequins are still going strong
Nautical as always is in.

These are my guesses on what will be big this spring, i'm very excited:)

i went to f21 yesterday and only picked up four items, but my favorite has to be this cheap/cute little necklace. i have been in love with everything nautical my whole life, and this had to be the icing to that very nautical cake. this necklace was literally $3.00, and i don't know why i didn't buy ten of every color...
along with the necklace i picked up a few hippie-ish bracelets and a ruffly top for $12.00

Charlotte-Russe seems to be getting a makeover. Seriously, the store I thought was geared towards 10 year olds, now is carrying fashiony clothing.
I am in love with all things boho or sequins and it seems Charlotte-Russe gets that.
The prices happen to be ridiculous, like crazy cheap.
Maybe everyone but me knew this little surprise secret?
Now I'm not saying its all good (note picture two), just be very selective:)

Sequins: Originally created for las vegas strippers, maybe..? Currently, sequins are acceptable anywhere! Totally cute:) I have been obsessed with them for a year, so i thought they deserved a post.
A couple cautions, sequins can easily look cheap, as well as trashy.
You have probably already tried a sequin top, or dress, but maybe you haven't tried...

Sequin Skirts are fun, fun, funnn. Sequin skirts can easily look trashy, trashy, trashyyy..I suggest pairing them with opaque tights, a white tee, and ankle boots.
Sequin Sweaters this one happens to be five dollars, I picture it with dark skinny jeans as well as dark boots.
Sequin Pants. Not everyone can get away with them.

Their were a few collections that did not disappoint Spring 2009..and really how cute is Topshop Unique?!?!? So sweet, i want it all!
And of course, I wasn't let down by the marc by marc jacobs collection. All of the dresses were pretty much amazing.

But if i could have been to one of the fashion shows for Spring 2009 Ready-to-Wear, Alexander Wang would have been my choice. It was like the Alexander Wang everyone loves...except, with an odd color palette! Check it all out here.

I just ordered these Frye boots from Beacons Closet. How much $0.00 + $7.95 for shipping. Do the math, that is...$7.95! It had to be a mistake but is it to good to be true? I have never had any problems with the site before, so we'll see!

(The boots I ordered are actually the same ones pictured, however mine were in a darker color.)
